Excellent writing!!! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book\K! I found myself so involved in the main character’s story. Very descriptive and true to life situations that we experience working in patient care. I felt as if I were living these experiences with him. I laughed, I cried…. I am left wanting another book and/or series.”

Fascinating look at Trauma Nursing “An unexpected healer Is fascinating look into the life of a trauma nurse from a male perspective, combined with a look into Latin culture, that makes for an enjoyable read.”

Really enjoyed it!The author was right to describe it as a medical drama and a love story. His adventures as a nurse provided great insight to the challaenges of the job. The love he has for his family was heartwarming. The vivid descriptions and wide range of characters – including a fun, upper West-side, Latin flair – entertained me to the very end.

Great Read “I not only related to the stress of the job but also the feeling of being challenged by an unfamiliar environment because of all the great detail. I felt Carlos’ struggle and found myself rooting for him to succeed. Additionally, I enjoyed the much needed comic relief of all the other characters that help make this story come alive!”

Thanks to “ Goodreads “ for the opportunity to read and review this book. This was a relatively fast and easy read about the life and career of a reluctant nurse. Carlos went into nursing to impress his fiancée , who ultimately became his wife, and also to impress her parents. The book discussed in detail the beginnings of his job in LA, and how he progressed to different areas and how he became very competent and proud of his career. Carlos faced many family difficulties but he persevered and he did not give up, this was a very positive and uplifting book.”
